It's all very well to want a better world. Unfortunately, the mind of most people recoils in horror at the prospect of having to grow up and start behaving like responsible adults. The advertisement industry has for a number of decades been relentlessly hammering into our heads archetypes for living a happy life chosen from the personality of the typical selfish spoiled brat. It's no wonder people are so unresponsive to these kinds of message, however stark or pressing in their urging us to take action in our own self-interest, for it is based on factual information that appeals to the rational side of the mind, which has been switched off. People respond to goals being scored by their teams, yeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!! like premature ejaculations of character, or to Christmas and New Year and all these allocated commercial areas where, just like in the Orwellian two minutes hate, the human organism is allowed to secrete like a sweat these surrogate forms of higher states of being.
